FIA also releases statement on Horner investigation

 

Horner is being investigated internally by parent company Red Bull GmbH after a team employee made allegations against him.

 

He denies all allegations and insisted at the launch of the Red Bull RB20 last week that nothing has changed for the team.

 

Horner has not been suspended from his duties pending the investigation.

 

In the statement, the FIA, the federation that governs Formula 1, explained that it is “committed” to maintaining high standards of “integrity, fairness and inclusion”.

 

“In relation to the independent investigation currently being carried out by Red Bull GMbH, the FIA ​​reiterates that it will make no further comment until this has been completed and the result has been released,” the statement said.
